This film looks like its going to be a classic.It looks like Amanda’s Cosette is going to have a higher profile in the film compared to the musical.That can only be a good thing.
Hopefully her management are already planning her next move.Choose with care !
My only concern is whats happening with Lovelace.If it is a bad as it seems to be,I hope the producers dont release it after Les Miserable purely to cash in on Amanda’s performance.I’ve hated Lovelace from the start.No doubt Amanda will be the best thing in it,but a bad movie is a bad movie.I would hate to see all Amanda’s wonderful work brought down by a bomb.

iforsy, Lovelace is not expected to make money on the get go. It’s an arthouse film. But it is a type of film the industry honchos would watch.

Brian, notice the ‘Les Mis’ poster has her on top billing but not so on the ‘Big Wedding’ poster.

yeah but gosh when is the trailer of lovelace is out there is not a lot of buzz about it i want it out before the oscars so Amanda can have a chance to be nominated!!

She is fourth billed on both posters.

I guess I was referring to the first ‘Big Wedding’ poster. It’s not around anymore, it featured the wedding cake statuettes. Only 3 on the top billing and Amanda wasn’t one of them.

Yes, Becca. That’s the one. I think it reflects how dated the initial marketing strategy was including the lackluster trailer. I hope it’s actually a good movie and the Ad guys do a revamp. The last poster maybe a reflection of that revamp but they needed time to retool the whole thing.
