Disappointing but could be a good move. There’s just not enough buzz about it yet and the pre-halloween schedule has not been good to her.

It’s not the kind of movie that does well the weekend before Halloween. April is a better month for it.

Could be, could be. 2013 looks a lot better with Lovelace and Big Wedding, instead of just Epic and Pete and Goat.

I saw a movie called The Words tonight (good movie) and the theater has a poster for The Big Wedding. The poster doesn’t look like much online, but it’s impressive in person. Amanda looks incredibly good in it.

Braian we dont know yet about Amanda upcoming project and is it treu about the poster Amanda is the only sunshine in it i wished if it was in October so we can see her soon but we just have to wait till december for les mis!

Also, cut a new trailer with a little less Heigl snarkiness. She seems extra snarky in this one.

A trailer with no Heigl would be even better. Heigl is box office poison. Maybe a few seconds of her, just to let her remaining fans know that she’s in it. It would be nice if they could make the movie look like less of a romcom cliche in a new trailer. More of Amanda and Ben Barnes would be good.

They just released a bunch of ‘Big Wedding’ photos and again, too much Heigl.

It’s not a good sign that The Big Wedding released 10 photos and didn’t have Amanda (her face at any rate) in any of them. I don’t think Ben Barnes was in any either, but there was plenty of Heigl. Lionsgate doesn’t seem to realize that no one under 40 cares about the actors in the photos they released. If you want a younger crowd to show up, show more of Amanda and Barnes.

To be fair, they also ignored Ben Barnes in those 10 shots.

They need to re-tune the marketing campaign because it currently sucks and appears to be 5 years behind the times.

well ben barnes is not as important as Amanda i mean she is more famouse than he is she is just like katherin heigle!!!

Barnes is Amanda’s love interest in the movie. This is a rom com, so it would make sense to have pictures of both of them.

Well “The Big Wedding” can be classified as a ‘chick flick’ so a hunky guy should be visually prominent.

The feeling I get from the movie and the trailer though is that the movie isn’t so much about the relationship between Amanda/Ben’s characters as it is about his family and how they are dealing with all their issues. My feeling is that Amanda’s character is most likely going to be what most grooms are on Romcoms Someone you don’t see as much of as you should. Given the premises of the movie is dealing more with the parents of Ben’s characters then anything.

hi becca but i think Amanda is one of the main charachter because she was mentioned let’s just have finger crossed and hope !!! and beside i think les misérables gonna explose her career so i am happy and excited for that!

The movie is definitely about the “wacky shenanigans” that follow after the big lie is told to the jesus freak birth mother. Amanda is a supporting character, not a lead. That is clear, given the plot, cast listing (she’s fourth billed) and trailer.

Still, from a marketing perspective, she should be a major part of the marketing campaign (along with Barnes) in order to get younger people to watch the movie. DeNiro, Sarandon, and Keaton are fine actors, but they don’t appeal to the under 40 crowd, and Heigl doesn’t appeal to anyone.

iam a huge fan of Amanda but i also think that heigl is soo funny !! but let’s just hope that we are gonna see her a lot in the movie our litter amanda!

Heigl has gotten too comfortable with that character archetype she often portrays. People are getting tired of it and she needs to change it up soon.

She risks falling into the career trap that Aniston and J. Parker are in. Something Amanda is actively avoiding.

the thing that i love about Amanda is that she is trying to do everyhting she has been in all deferent kind of movies!!!and she will continue;)
