We’re trying to figure out whether to keep the video archive as it currently is (downloadable), or to possibly switch it to something streaming (example). Let us know which way you prefer to view the videos in the comments so we can decide what is the best option!

4 Responses to “Poll – Video Archive”June 5th, 2009 at 8:51 pm I really think you should switch to streaming as long as you can handle the bandwidth etc. I like to watch the videos right away. You could always store the videos somewhere else to download. June 6th, 2009 at 2:04 pm Streaming videos is a great idea, but it does take up a bit of bandwidth. Perhaps you could set up a tracker to monitor the visitors you receive on the site, to determine whether its cost effective? Most people want to watch a video right away, and not store it on their computer. However, you have to be prepared for the extra cost, if need be, for your server to handle it.
